The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show

Foodies, Fun People, Volunteers Wanted!

Volunteers should like cooking and entertaining, have a very friendly demeanor, and show up on time and stay at their assignment for the assigned period. They can wander around before/after their shift.
Volunteer tasks include:

Greeters/people movers
Ticket sellers
Theater ushers (will also put flyers out & clean up after shows)
Information booth attendants
Package check attendants
Check in/crowd control in Special Event areas
Booth workers to sell & distribute celebrity books
Any other tasks, or running around that needs to be done

NOTE: You must be 16 years old to volunteer.

All volunteers will receive a Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show apron. Also, those who volunteer to work a ½ day shift will be allowed to enjoy the show as our guests the other ½ of that day. Volunteers who work a full day will receive 2 general admission tickets to come and enjoy the show the other day. While off-duty volunteers will not have reserved seats in the Celebrity Theater, they may sit in empty seats or stand in the back with the on-duty volunteers.

These shifts are approximate and may vary by assignment. Please be flexible.

NOTE: Volunteers who come to enjoy the show before their work shift will be asked to provide a credit card number which will be charged $25 for general admission only if they do not show up to work their shift.
